Koreans by and large, do not celebrate Christmas as it is still quite a Buddhist country. Most families think it is a "western" holiday for the kids -- decorations, gifts, etc. But it’s also a country where it has traditionally, been very difficult to find a Christmas tree, until recent years -- and the majority of Koreans do not put one up in their house.
