Crown Truck Spotted in the Jungle on Bangka Island

In response to Crown's "Spot that Crown Truck" contest, one of Crown's trucks was recently seen in a very remote area of Indonesia. The truck, which was ferried to the location, was spotted at Pangkal Balam Port, in Bangka Island, Province Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, Indonesia--a rather remote place to be, but Crown made it there.

Mike Arnold, Country Manager for Crown Indonesia noted, "We support the exploration industry across Indonesia and this requires us to overcome a variety of logistical issues in order to provide service to these remote areas. From oil and gas in Borneo to mining in Sulawesi, and in this case Bangka, you'll find our Crown trucks throughout the archipelago. In this instance we were very happy to provide service for the President Director of a Malaysian tin mining company who was relocating from both Jakarta and Bangka to Kuala Lumpur."

With 200 offices around the world, Crown's recognizable trucks with their red and yellow logos wind up in a variety of interesting places around the world. You may spot a Crown truck in the business district of London, driving through the hills of Auckland, navigating through the streets of Mumbai or even in your own driveway.

If you spot a truck and submit a photo to Crown, you will receive a stuffed Crown Lion, and the winner of the contest will receive a new digital camera!
