CROWN EXECUTIVE RE-ELECTED TO PRISM BOARD
Phillip Britton is PRISM's Director of Asia Relations
HONG KONG, November 28, 2007 -- Crown Records Management, a worldwide leader of business information storage services, announced that Philip Britton, group vice president of Crown Records Management, has been re-elected to the board of PRISM International.
Following a vote by board members, Britton's role as Director of Asia Relations has been renewed for another three years. He has been a member of the PRISM International board since the beginning of 2007. His responsibilities include countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
The members of the PRISM Board oversee specific tasks, including the impact of new U.S. and EU regulations, research and development, as well as ethics and strategic planning.
PRISM International (Professional Records & Information Services Management) is a not-for-profit trade association for the commercial information management industry. Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, and with a European branch in Brussels, Belgium, the organization is made up of outsourcing partners that provide physical and digital information protection, access, retention, storage and disposal.
Britton commented, "I look forward to continuing my role as Director of Asia Relations for the PRISM organization. This role has given me an opportunity to give something back to the industry I have enjoyed working in for many years. In this position I am able to share knowledge with PRISM members and their clients to ensure that we continue to raise the standard within our profession, and meet our clients' present and future needs. As a Director of PRISM, I will endeavor to increase the membership of PRISM within the region to ensure the highest standards are maintained in the area of Records Management."
PRISM members organize three regional conferences a year. The "2008 PRISM International Asia-Pacific Regional Conference will be held on February 20-22, at the Crowne Plaza Mutiara, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jim Thompson, Crown Worldwide Group Chairman will attend as the Key Note Speaker on the subject of "The Essentials of Entrepreneurship."
