Crown Canada to Host Cultural Forum on India

Crown Relocations is pleased to invite you to Crown Canada’s first Partners Meeting of 2007 titled "A Canadian Passage through India" being held Thursday, March 1 at the Marriot Courtyard on Minthorn Blvd. in Markham, Ontario. The discussion runs from 10 a.m. to noon and includes a continental breakfast in the meeting room with lunch served at the event’s conclusion.

"A Canadian Passage through India" will provide specific guidance for individuals interested in better understanding Indian culture in Canada. A panel of individuals that have experienced living and working in both India and Canada will discuss and answer questions concerning the challenges they faced as new arrivals in a different country and how they dealt with them.

“The intention of these forums is to cement partnerships, better understand international culture and increase Crown's exposure to the world of relocations,” said Donna Bergles, one of the main organizers of the Partners Meetings. “With Crown being a global company, there is a strong desire to integrate various populations coming into and going out of Canada.”

Crown Canada held two Partners Meetings in 2006, with a similar forum taking place last September that was designed to bridge the gap between Chinese and Canadian cultures.

Along with the discussion focusing on cultural trends, “A Canadian Passage through India" will include a question and answer period with audience members and will be facilitated by Margot Collins, Consultant for Aperian Global, Crown's partner in the provision of intercultural services.

Crown Relocations and Aperian Global look forward to welcoming you at the March 1 seminar and ask participants to please confirm their attendance by registering by February 15, 2006.

Following the session, a buffet lunch will be provided at 12:30 featuring a sampling of Indian Cuisine.

If you have any questions or would like to reserve a place at the forum, please email Fiorella Campodonico at fcampodonico@crownrelo.com.
