Shenzhen School Information
Most expats send their children to private international schools in Shekou. The competition to get in is not excessive and there are usually enough spots at these schools for all children.There are a few bilingual kindergartens in the area. In addition, the international schools have pre-school classes. Select international schools offer school bus services, but many parents prefer to take their kids to school themselves.The school year normally starts at the end of August or beginning of September and ends in mid to late June.
The three international schools in Shekou are:
- Shekou International School (SIS)
- Quality Schools International of Shekou (QSI)
- International School of Sino-Canada
The first two are chosen by most often because they are located near popular expat neighborhoods.
