Shaila Gidwani, destination specialist, has been working in the relocation and intercultural training industry since 1999. In her current role, Shaila is based in Crown’s holdings office in Hong Kong. She is responsible for managing the trainers and ensuring the quality of service, as well as coordinating the development of the program and its increasing network.

Prior to her current role, Shaila was employed with an intercultural training firm, before joining Crown as a mobility consultant in 2002. Shaila earned a BA Hons International Business in London; IPAG in Nice, France and completed an undergraduate year at a French business school, studying International Marketing and International Human resource management.

Shaila is of Indian ethnicity. She was born in France, raised in the UK and has been living in Hong Kong for the last eight years. Shaila is a member of SIETAR (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) Asia. She is certified by the Worldwide ERC® and is a licensed Sales Person with the Estate Agency Association in Hong Kong.

Shaila’s key strengths include her strong cross cultural communication skills, coordination abilities, attention-to-detail, and practical experience with vendor management. She has first-hand experience working with expats which enables her to understand the struggles they face when moving.
