Crown Worldwide K.K. (hereinafter "our Firm") is committed to being of service to our customers and greater society, not simply to being an economic entity pursuing profits through fair competition. To achieve this we maintain positive social awareness in our activities, and obey both the spirit and the letter of international laws and regulations at home and abroad. To protect private personal information, we have set forth the following "Personal Information Privacy Protection Policy" and pledge to insure appropriate management of your private information as an integral part of our operational activities.
- Our firm has established a personal information privacy protection management system based on the Japan Industrial Standards "Personal Information Protection Management System & Requirements"(JIS Q 15001) to protect personal information handled by all our operations as well as protect our employees' personal information. We will operate appropriately within this system in accordance with personal information protection laws and national policies and standards.
- Our firm will appropriately gather, handle, and provide personal information within the limits of what has been clearly determined as necessary for carrying out our operations. We will use this information only within the scope required for that use, and have established measures to insure it will not be used for any other purposes.
- When, as part of the above operations, our firm provides this gathered personal information in its entirety or in part, to outside vendors we do so within the framework of contractual or other appropriate measures, working only with selected persons who will fully meet protection standards.
- Our firm has established reasonable safety protection and corrective measures against the risks of illegal access to personal information, as well as against the loss, destruction or leakage of such information.
- Our firm will respond without delay to concerns, complaints, and requests from the person or persons who wish the disclosure, correction, deletion or cease-use of their own personal information.
- Our firm will conduct ongoing reviews and updates of our personal information protection management systems, and publish the most recent updates on our firm's official home page.
- When our Firm uses your personal information, we obtain your permission to do so, and we make use of your personal information in an appropriate manner, limited to the scope required to perform our services considering the scale and contents of our Firm's services, except for situations recognized as exceptional or when ordered by law.

We do not share your personal information. Except in the following situations, we do not provide or disclose to any third parties the personal information that we have gathered.- When required by law
- When it is necessary to protect human life, physical safety, or property, and you are not available to provide your consent.
- When it is necessary in providing our services inside Japan, in compliance with item 3 below, Use of Personal Information by Outsourced Service Partners
- When we request overseas services from overseas branch offices and service partners.
- When providing continuance of services under the conditions of merger, division, or transfer of operations.

We may provide your personal data to service partner firms under Non-Disclosure Agreements with our firm when it is necessary to carry out the work noted under section 1 above. -

(1) Customers may contact the address below for inquiries, and requests for disclosure, correction, deletion, and cease-use of their Personal Information. To make a valid request, please enclose the following items ①②and ③, and send these to us by Delivery-Recorded postal delivery. Note: You, the customer, are to pay the cost of the Delivery-Recorded postal delivery.

② Documents to confirm your personal identity
When making requests under the Personal Information Protection Law for disclosure, correction, deletion, cease-use, etc., to prevent leakage of private information to anyone other than the person concerned, we ask for proof of identity when the request is made. The documents requested for proof of identity are outlined below.A copy of ONE of the following documents within their period of validity is required (Note: "Copy" refers to images by digital camera or computer scan, and does not include printouts of the same).
- Automobile driver's license (if "place of origin" is listed, as it is not necessary, please black it out)
※ If you have changed your address, please update your license and include a copy of the reverse side. - Your "Juki Net" Card ※ "B Type" with ID photo, date-of-birth, and address current address) clearly shown. If you have moved within the same municipal jurisdiction, please update your address and include a copy of the reverse side of your card.
- Passport ※ Include both ID photo page and page where you recorded your name and address.
- Your Japanese Pension Passbook
- Your Japanese Social Services Passbook
- Your Health Insurance Card
※ Be sure that you have recorded your address on the proper line. - (For foreigners) Your Alien Registration Card, or an original Record of Recorded Matters
③ Payment of Fee
For each Request for Disclosure, please pay a fee of Y500 by enclosing Japan Post postage stamps worth Y500 or a Y500 "teigaku shou-kawase" sold at the Japan Post Bank. This fee will not be returned or refunded. If there is over-payment, the excess will not be refunded. If the amount is insufficient or has not been paid, we will notify you and if the full payment has not been paid within 2 weeks, we will not disclose the data or return any of the fee paid to date.(2) We cannot disclose personal information -
- When we cannot confirm that it is the customer himself or herself (including inquiries by telephone).
- When disclosure would create a danger of injury to the life, well-being, or assets of the customer or any third party
- When disclosure would impair our firm's ability to conduct its work properly
- When there would be a violation of any laws
- When there is clear violation of Public Morality, or behavior that is not socially appropriate
(3) Use of private information gathered in the course of a request for disclosure, etc.
Information gathered in the course of any request for disclosure, etc., will be the minimum required for processing the disclosure.
