Malaysia Supports World Down Syndrome Day
Crown Malaysia supported World Down Syndrome Day for yet another year alongside the 21st anniversary of Malaysia's Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation (KDSF).

Under the banner of "Crown Cares," KDSF was chosen by Crown Malaysia's staff as one of its four worthy causes to support throughout 2010. Fund raising has already begun with breakfast events in February and athletic sporting events completed in March.
Jan Gregory and Yathy Abdul Fatah were invited as guests to participate in an afternoon tea party on Sunday, March 21, at the KDSF location in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. During the proceedings, Jan presented a check for USD1000 (RM3300) which will be used to support Shanmugan—a 14- month-old child with Downs Syndrome—for his first year at the foundation through their "Sponsor a Child" program.
The party was a delightful event which included performances by children of all ages, many of whom were very pleased to see their old friend Leon the Lion! They also participated in a fashion show, hosted by local designer Hideaki with his neon-green, space age show. The event was attended by local dignitaries, Kiwanians, sponsors and supporters of Kiwanis, along with media representatives and more than 300 friends and family members.
There will be other Kiwanis events throughout the year that Crown will be supporting, including the much talked about treasure hunt in June.
