Crown Relocations Sponsors Successful Expat Roundtables Throughout India
Crown, an international relocations, moving services company, specializing in moving and storage, private and corporate relocation services, recently sponsored several successful roundtables on Expatriate Management throughout India including: Mumbai, Chennai and Pune.
The roundtable events began last September in Chennai at the Hyatt Hotel, where participants discussed several topics such as: Chennai’s work culture, expatriate expectations, and the creation of meaningful assignments in a rapidly-changing environment. During this intercultural event, professionals alike were able to share and gather valuable insights into the opportunities of living and working in Chennai.
After this successful roundtable in Chennai, and another event in Mumbai, Crown hosted its third and final roundtable in Pune at the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA). All three intercultural events were a great success, which was partly attributed to Crown’s collaboration with the Society for Intercultural Education, Training, and Research (SIETAR).
All events’ attendees were from various backgrounds including many foreign expats, human resources professionals who handle global placements, managing directors and general managers who have worked cross-culturally, delivery managers for various regions, many Indians who had been expats for much of their lives, and intercultural researchers and trainers. Following each event, feedback was collected which mostly contained encouraging words and suggestions related to expatriate management in India.
