Crown Partners with SCB to Observe World AIDS Day
Crown, an international relocations, moving services company, specializing in moving and storage, private and corporate relocation services, partnered with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and the champions of its "Living with HIV's" program to mark World AIDS Day, 2010 to enhance public awareness and understanding of HIV and AIDS.
They organized a tram tour and flyer distribution event centered on the slogan: HIV and AIDS – It's everybody's business.

Crown Hong Kong’s team, dressed in uniform fashion wearing "Living with HIV" t-shirts left the famous Crown moving truck behind, and boarded the tram for the ride which began at the tram depot in the western district of Hong Kong and ended at Causeway Bay.

SCB launched its global community initiative "Living with HIV" in 2003 to educate communities about HIV and AIDS. It has since completed a commitment to the Clinton Global Initiative to educate one million people about the disease, by 2010, and with the help of a network of voluntary "Living with HIV" champions.
Crown first volunteered in December 2007 to be one of SCB's partners in the program which entails identifying employees to serve as "champions" and "ambassadors" of the cause, spreading the message internally as well as in community activities and volunteering to serve if needed.
Crown conducted its first workshop in Hong Kong on Dec. 15, 2007 and has since conducted many others throughout the group.
