Records Management Acquisition in Japan
Crown Records Management completed the acquisition of Quraz Records Management, one of Piedmont’s business units, based in Tokyo. The business headquarters is located in Tokyo and will operate and serve clients throughout Tokyo. The new Management Center is located in Ota-ku, which is 30 minutes south of Tokyo’s business district and about halfway between Tokyo and Kawasaki. Crown is investigating properties just outside Metro Tokyo and will further expand its presence in the near future.
With the acquisition of this local business, Crown Japan offers a robust suite of products to the global, regional and local business communities, conducting business and providing online Web services in English, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and other languages.
Tim Powell, senior manager, will oversee Crown’s Records Management business in Japan. Having been in the industry since 1999, he brings knowledge from all areas of the business from operations, sales and marketing through to compliance and training.
Powell will be supported by Shinki Fujimoto, senior sales executive. Shinki will continue to build and maintain an excellent relationship with existing and potential clients. His experience working within the Japanese marketplace will support Crown in its goal to provide a customer focused service to both the local market as well as the international companies in Japan.
