Art in Motion: Beijing Military Museum
Crown Fine Arts Hong Kong was privileged to transport an exhibition for The Beijing Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

From the initial enquiry by PICO International in Hong Kong, Tommy Chan, Crown Fine Arts director in Hong Kong, began to coordinate with staff members of Crown Beijing and Crown Macau.
After careful preparation and meticulous planning, this challenging project was successfully set in motion in Beijing two weeks before opening in Macau.
Over four days, the 216 artworks which included sculptures, calligraphy, oil paintings, engravings, water color and traditional Chinese ink paintings were carefully packed into 97 wooden crates. One week later, three 40 foot containers of artworks arrived in Macau and were installed by the Crown Fine Arts team at the famous Macau Tower.
Once the week long Macau exhibition concluded, the artworks were carefully repacked for transportation and exhibition in Hong Kong. The Beijing Military Museum held high expectations for the protection of these historic artworks while limited installation time required coordinated, streamlined and enthusiastic teamwork.
"This is a great example of successful teamwork between the Beijing, Macau and Hong Kong offices."
