South Africa
Crown is now proudly serving over 300 clients across Africa. Crown’s vast experience combined with its newly acquired scanning operation in South Africa brings clients a full spectrum of services. Innovative technologies provide clients with Web-based systems to retrieve records in storage, generate customized reports and access invoices and billing information. Off-site data storage and hosting services enable clients to access electronic files on a secure, Web-based browser.
Flamely Fourie, who was previously based in Crown Dubai, UAE, and is now overseeing the South African records business said, "We will be focusing on additional scanning business, as well as more media storage and certified/confidential destruction services."
Japan
Quraz Records Management is one of Piedmont’s business units based in Tokyo. The new Management Center is located in Ota-ku, approximately 30 minutes south of Tokyo’s business district and about midway between Tokyo and Kawasaki. Crown is investigating properties just outside Metro Tokyo and will further expand its presence in the near future.
With the acquisition of these local businesses, Crown offers a robust suite of products to the global, regional and local business communities. Philip Britton, group vice president of Records Management adds, "These acquisitions have brought a lot of new innervations to our system with regard to multilingual Web interfaces, which will help many of our clients throughout the world."
