Museum: The American Museum of Natural History
Location: New York City at Central Park West and 79th Street

The Museum features five levels of exhibitions, which also includes their world renowned Dinosaur Exhibits. The Museum specializes in “Kids and Family” events like Storytime for Tots, The Living Sea, and Critter Outfitters where kids create their own custom, cuddly critter by stuffing and stitching them together.

The Museum also offers “hands-on” exhibits like the Arthur Ross Hall of Meteorites and the wonderful new Discovery Room, which is a gateway to the wonders of the museum. Children can explore an array of puzzles, games, artifacts and specimens.

And don’t forget to see all the life-like dioramas that capture birds, reptiles, mammals and plant life in their natural world. These dioramas have been called the “windows onto the world of animals.
