Turin Transport

Will I need to drive my own vehicle to conduct my everyday life (work/school/shopping) at my destination?
If you live/work/go to school in the city itself or the first ring outside the city you may not need a vehicle, because there are other means of transport available, including taxis, buses and a newly-built underground. If, instead, you live/work/go to school outside the town, it is recommended that you have a vehicle, for convenience.
