Where can I get a list of reliable childcare providers/nannies?

Please contact your Human Resources Director or our office for more information on reliable childcare providers and/or nannies. Also, your neighbors, co-workers and other parents at your children's schools are all good sources and will most likely be able to provide you with some good tips and point you in the right direction. Otherwise, you can get a list from the Golden Pages under Nannies or Creches or on the Internet.

I want my child to get the most out of our stay in this country. Are there any specific opportunities to teach young people about the local culture?

Get your child involved in any youth club. Chances are they will be informed of all local or nearby town events. Ireland is full of culture and checking out the many sites of Dublin would be a learning experience in itself. Also, there are walking tours of Dublin that take in the culture and history of Dublin. Tours are every Saturday and start outside Trinity College in the city center. For more information, contact the Dublin Tourist Information Center, Tel: 01 6057700
