Furniture can be bought at centers like IKEA, Møbelringen, A-Møbler, Maxbo, Smart Club, etc. Electrical equipment and the like, can be found at Elkjøp, Lefdal, Expert and other stores. Most centers and large supermarkets are open until 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. Monday to Friday and until 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Centers are closed on Sundays. IKEA is open until 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, and until 9 p.m. on Saturday. It can be very crowded and difficult to find parking on busy days like Saturdays, in the afternoon and days before public holidays. Grocery stores are only allowed to sell beer in Norway. Other alcoholic beverages, such as wine and stronger beverages, are sold at VINMONOPOLET, government-controlled stores. These stores offer a wide range of products.
