For minor problems, it is best to speak to your local pharmacist or doctor as waiting times at A&Es can be lengthy. The NHS website also provides a good overview of the various after hour services available to you. You can also telephone NHS direct for advice on health care and out-of-hours availability for hospitals and chemists.
