Describe typical public transportation an expat might use to get around the city.
Taxis (orange and white color) can be hailed in the street. Taxis are owned by Omani Nationals. Taxis are not metered so always agree on a price before you get in. For more convenience, call private taxi firms, such as City Taxi or Hello Taxi. Trains, metro lines and in-city buses are not available in Oman (except for old buses that carry migrant workers in and out of the city).
