Before I get sick, what should I know about seeking medical care in your city as an expat?

You have to arrange for health insurance in your home country, or ask your company to arrange it for you. Make sure it’s valid for Russia as this is not covered in many policies. Health centers for expats are generally expensive. You will not be refused treatment without insurance, but you will be asked to pay on the spot.
