The opening times of the shops and shopping centers are different than in some countries. Within the city, the shops close at 6:30 p.m. every night, 5 p.m. on Saturday and are closed on Sundays. The shopping malls have the same hours but late-opening is on Friday nights until 8 or 9 p.m.
Keep the size and layout of your building in mind when purchasing furniture. If you live in a building without an elevator or with exceptionally narrow halls, you may need to pass large pieces of furniture through the window with the help of an outside elevator.
