Please select the country

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) requires a birth certificate for all new, renewal or transfer of employment visas from applicants with previous nationality or genealogical roots from an Arab country. Birth certificates must be attested by the UAE Embassy in the applicant’s home country and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE.

Previously, birth certificates were requested on a discretionary case-by-case basis, upon review of an application. These changes took effect on March 17, 2016.
