How will I recognize a pharmacy? What is it called in the local language?
Usually, there is a sign with a snake around a red cross. You can either call it patika or by the less-easily pronounceable name of gyogyszertar .
Hours are usually between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each pharmacy hangs a sign with the address of the closest after-hours pharmacy (ugyeletes gyogyszertar ) where you can get medication in emergency situations.
