You will be sharing a container with other Crown Relocations customers moving to similar international locations. By consolidating several customers into one shipping container, you pay only for the volume you need - far cheaper than airfreight or a direct LCL (less-then-container load service). Hong Kong to Australia moves Shipments will be routed through Crown Sydney or Melbourne’s specialist facility. Your belongings will then be transported to your new home by road. Hong Kong to USA moves Shipments will be routed through New York and Los Angeles on the East and West Coasts, dependent on which is closest to your final destination within USA. Your belongings will then be transported to your new home by rail or road. How long does Groupage shipping take? If transit time is a critical factor for you, it would be best to consider the direct shipping options. Crown Groupage generally takes approximately 12 weeks* door-to-door, depending on your origin and destination. During peak season when demand is high, we can offer a shorter transit time. * Crown Groupage tends to take a few days longer due to consolidation and deconsolidation.
