Popular local supermarkets include New World, Countdown and PAK'nSAVE. Groceries can also be purchased at petrol service stations and local mini-marts, called Dairies.

A wide range of cleaning materials can be purchased at the supermarkets New World, Countdown and PAK'nSAVE. Home furnishings can be purchased in a wide range of stores. Check the Yellow Pages for a complete list.

What are factors that might affect my shopping habits in this country/city?
Most large shopping malls are open 7 days a week with at least one late night a week. Normal hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with one late night per week where the shops stay open until 9:00 p.m.
