Will I need to drive my own vehicle to conduct my everyday life (work/school/shopping)?

Many people do drive to work in Birmingham. However, please be aware of parking restrictions. There is a good public transport system also.

For the train, you can obtain tickets at the station. You may also buy train and bus tickets at local newsagents, online or at tourist information offices. Weekly and monthly travel cards are also available for regular commuters.
