September 3, 2018
As a global company, operating in a multitude of markets, Crown has a responsibility to give back to the community and making the world better. Adrian Young, General Manager of Crown Relocations Taiwan and also Chairman of the Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Taipei, will be joining 2018 ANZCham Charity Bike Ride on October 13 to 17, to raise fund for charities in Hualien and Taitung. Adrian is one of 30 avid riders, will embark on a five-day bicycle tour, riding 472km from northern tip of Taiwan (Keelung), through east coast, and then down to southern tip of Taiwan (Kenting).
“This is both the Chamber and my first biker tour in Taiwan and all participants are excited. The tour is going to be challenging, especially the last few days as there are 5,000m inclines over the last two days”, Adrian said. “I am going to need to focus on my training in the next month or so, I know for every kilometer I cycle, it helps the people in need.”
He added: “Being one of the event sponsors, we demonstrate leadership and channel energy into things with care. I know we can make a real difference to the lives in the local community, especially those who are recovering from the Hualien earthquake.”
Founded in 1991, the Australia and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (ANZCham) represents Australians and New Zealanders doing business in Taiwan, and to complement other organizations promoting trade, investment, and general relations among the three nations.
