Crown USA’s 3rd annual celebration of our valued service partners
October 31, 2014
Over the past three years, Crown’s USA Service Partner Event has moved from Washington, D.C. to the Big D: Dallas, Texas and this year … to Chicago, Illinois! This year we incorporated more learning opportunities into the celebratory vibe of this exciting event. Held October 8, 2014, concurrently with the Worldwide ERC 2014 Global Workforce Symposium: Celebrating Success; Transforming Tomorrow, we shared a common theme: “Celebrating 50 years: Looking Back and Moving Forward.”

The Service Partner event is organized by Crown’s Alliance team to develop mutually beneficial business relationships with Crown’s service partners across all business divisions. After the success of the previous two years, the team is thrilled to report that this year the bar was raised again. This year we incorporated Crown’s other global regions in this celebration and had several representatives attend from our global alliance service partner network.
Our very special guest speaker, Mr. H Cris Collie, was CEO of Worldwide ERC® from 1972 through 2008 and grew the organization from a 300-member U.S.-centric organization to a global community of more than 13,000 members who hail from 65 countries. Incorporating ERC’s 50th anniversary celebration with our own upcoming 50th anniversary, the theme of his talk was “Celebrating 50 years: Looking Back, Moving Forward.”
The event also included presentations by two Crown senior management team members (Norah Franchetti, VP Global Marketing and Gary Maguire, VP Global Risk and Compliance), followed by a panel that included Lisa Johnson, Global Practice Leader, as moderator and Shan Norman, Vice President, Client Services, Pat Welch, Group Vice President, and Cris Collie. Our 150+ guests enjoyed a delicious served luncheon and service partners award presentations, which included an EMEA Partner of the Year Award.
Our venue, the Chicago Stock Exchange Trading Room at the Art Institute of Chicago, this year was outstanding. The Art Institute of Chicago is an encyclopedic art museum located in Chicago's Grant Park, with collections and holdings of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, American art, Old Masters, European and American decorative arts, Asian art, modern and contemporary art, and architecture and industrial and graphic design. It also houses the Ryerson and Burnham Libraries.
