The Gift Box Program - a partnership with the Salvation Army

One of the things that makes Crown special is our global network. With locations all across the globe, it enables and inspires us to make a positive impact in each of the places we work. Under the leadership of our Chairman and Founder, Jim Thompson, Crown encourages all our employees to actively participate in giving back to our local communities through volunteering or initiating campaigns that create positive change.

Since August 2014, Crown Hong Kong has been partnering with the Salvation Army in an effort to give back to the community and to also do our part in mitigating environmental impact. With the introduction of the Gift Box program, we came up with a solution that not only makes the relocation process easier and more environmentally friendly for our clients, but it also brings a positive difference to the lives of many in the community.

Donations

Interested in donating? Check out the lists below for which items are acceptable or not.

Donated goods are sorted and distributed to family stores in Hong Kong and Macau. By simply donating instead of disposing, these items really make a difference to the lives of home-alone elderly, street sleepers, ex-prisoners and individuals whose income is not sufficient to meet basic needs.

Donation delivery service is for Crown Relocations’ customers only and is available at the time of relocation. Boxes will be collected during scheduled packing days.

For further details, please contact us on +852 2636 8399, hongkong@crownrelo.com or check out the Salvation Army website.
