Immigration transaction fees in the United States have increased by an average of 21 percent. The increases are the result of congressional funding that was not provided to Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCSIS) for certain programs, such as the Refugee, Asylum and International Operations (RAIO) program.

Among the fee increases is a new three-level fee for naturalization applications, an increased fee for Certificates of Citizenship and increased fees for Replacement of Naturalization/Citizenship documents.

Fees for immigrant workers, immigrant investors and family members have also increased.  These changes mark the first USCIS fee increases since 2010.
