Dutch companies relocate their business abroad

Recent findings have shown that 10% of large Dutch companies, predominately from the industrial sector, have moved at least part of their business abroad between 2009 - 2011.

In a combined effort to save cost, and also as part of long-term strategic plans the Dutch companies have transferred services mostly from ICT and Administration to other European countries such as Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Spain. Other service related activities have been moved to countries such as China and India.

In total, as a result of these transfers, job losses in The Netherlands is around 18,000 during the last three years, reaching 2.7% against an average of 0.2% in other sectors.

Crown Relocations helps organizations manage the mobility of their employees, providing a number of services to help ensure success.
