Singapore helps children's wishes come true
March 31, 2014
Crown Singapore got together to participate in an initiative called "Make-a-Wish program." RSVP Singapore (The Organization of Senior Volunteers) ran the event, making arrangements for the volunteers to visit the Pertapis Children’s Home to share some holiday cheer.
The Pertapis Children’s Home, established in 1991, is a Place of Safety and an Approved Home under the Children and Young Persons Act. The home aims to provide a safe and compassionate environment for the holistic development of children ranging in age from 4–12 years old, accommodating 100 residents.
A fantastic 38 volunteers from Crown spent a happy morning with the children, donating gifts and enjoyed the balloons being sculpted with the children - lots of holiday joy!
