One of the things that makes Crown special is our global network. With locations across the world, it enables and inspires us to make a positive impact in each of the places we work.

Crown Thailand has been partnering with Second Chance Bangkok for years to give back to the community and to also do our part in mitigating environmental impact. Crown Thailand came up with a solution that not only makes the relocation process easier and more environmentally friendly for our customers, but it also brings a positive difference to the lives of many in the community.

Crown Relocations Thailand donates good to Second Chance Bangkok

Donated goods are sorted and distributed to Second Chance shops in Klong Toey. By simply donating instead of disposing, these items really make a difference to the lives of people living the Klong Toey slum area. Crown will store these pre-loved goods in dedicated liftvans for Second Chance. Once the storage capacity is full, all items will be delivered to Second Chance shops. Second Chance will sell the donated goods to residents of Klong Toey community at affordable prices, or pass them on to those who lack the resources to purchase these essential items themselves.

Second Chance Bangkok is a local initiative by residents of Bangkok’s largest slum, Klong Toey. Founded by Chris and Jodie MarCartney when they moved to Bangkok ten years ago, Second Chance Bangkok has improved the wellbeing of people living at the Klong Toey slum area known as Rom Klao. There are approximately 500 people including 100 children. All proceeds from Second Chance Shop will be used to support children’s education fees, provides medical needs and daily essential living items.
