Most expats send their children to the International School Yangon, which is the city's largest and also best-organized international school. There is also a French School (set up by TotalFinaElf) and a Japanese school.

The British Council runs various courses, including IELTS, GCSE and LCCI courses.

At the present time, there should be no problem finding a place.
