Hoan Kiem District – the center of Hanoi, which has many historical houses o and apartments in both high- and low-rise buildings. Hai Ba Trung District – also in the center of Hanoi; some serviced apartments and private houses for rent. West Lake – a residential area where most expats live. There is a greater variety of housing, such as private villas, compounds and a few apartments with all facilities. West Lake is 20 minutes by car from the center. Ciputra – large new development consisting of villas and apartments. The United Nations International School and Singapore International School are located here.
