What are the items that I should bring with me because they’re not available (or are too expensive) where I am going?
As Turin is quite a big city, most goods are available. There are no particularly expensive items here.

Will anyone have particular trouble finding clothes that fit?
There could be trouble doing that, although sizes here range from XS to XXL. Italian sizes tend to be quite small, both in clothes and in shoes (there are no big sizes for shoes).

What grocery stores do expats in your city shop at?
In Turin there are many malls, supermarkets and hypermarkets in which you can purchase groceries. Smaller shops are present, too, but nowadays they are used less.

Where can other household items (such as cleaning materials and home furnishings) be found?
Other household items can be found always in the big malls, supermarkets and hypermarkets, but also in specialized shops.

What are factors that might affect my shopping habits in this country/city?
As in every other country the trends of the moment may affect shopping habits. Moreover, a preference for “Made in Italy” products is very strong.
