Macau Shopping

What are the items that I should bring with me because they’re not available (or are too expensive) where I am going?
Expats normally do not have difficulties in finding the items that they would like to buy in Macau. As Macau tax is lower than other cities, you would find items priced much lower than western cities. Macau has a wide range of shopping choices, including discount clothing markets around São Domingos near Senado Square and in the Three Lamps district (Rotunda de Carlos da Maia) near the Red Market.

Nearby, the Sun Star City, on Rua de Pedro Nolasco, and Sportstar, a two-storied arcade of specialty shops on Rua da Palha, offer a wide variety of clothing, watches, and stylish accessories like sunglasses, handbags, shoes and novelty items. Avenida Horta e Costa is a long shopping street that begins at the Red Market and extends as far as the Flora Gardens beneath Guia Hill.
