Philippines

Many expats who live in the Philippines would describe it as ‘Asia’s best-kept secret’.

Newcomers quickly find themselves included in society and it is relatively easy to make friends.

As with other countries in the region the climate of the Philippines is tropical and there are two distinct seasons: wet and dry.

During the wet season (June to December), much of metropolitan Manila, the capital city, is flooded and during the dry season (January to May), temperatures are very hot so you’re advised to protect your skin with sunscreen and wear a hat.
