Warsaw Networking

How close-knit is the expat community in this area? How do I get involved with it?
While there are some areas of Warsaw with a higher density of expats, there aren't any areas settled exclusively by expats. And while foreigners sometimes form bonds with other foreigners, many expats also form strong friendships with Poles.

A good start might be joining an official group (like the chambers of commerce, business clubs, etc.) or one of Warsaw's non-formal social groups.

Beside expat groups, what is the best way to make social connections outside of work?
A few examples are: the International Women’s Group, Dining Club, American Friend of Warsaw, Varsovie Acceuil and Toucan We We Waikiki.

Check English-language magazines published locally for more information.
