What are the items that I should bring with me because they’re not available (or are too expensive) where I am going?
Generally, Warsaw has all kinds of stores where worldwide products are available. However, Poland is not the best shopping destination for those seeking sophisticated items, such as high-fashion clothing.

Will anyone have particular trouble finding clothes that fit?
No. Clothing of all sizes is easy to find and buy. Warsaw even has worldwide brand shops.

What grocery stores do expats in your city shop at?
Apart from very nice local shops, international chains are available. These include MarcPol, Carrefour (including Carreofur, Globi, Champion), Ahold (stores of Hypernova and Robert), Auchan, Tesco, Geant and Makro. Also, small vegetable/fruits markets are available.

Where can other household items (such as cleaning materials and home furnishings) be found?
For household items, try these chains: Castorama, Conforama, Leroy Merlin, Praktiker, Obi, IKEA, Decathlon and Makro.

What are factors that might affect my shopping habits in this country/city?
In many cases, household goods in Poland are cheaper than in Western Europe.
