Richard Willeter, Director of Corporate Services, Asia, presented at the “At Your Service” Expo on Friday, September 14, 2012.
The main presentation focused on relocating expatriates into Hong Kong, but Richard also provided an anecdotal story of his own experience of relocating to Hong Kong and the emotional aspects of moving with a family—humanizing the management of relocation with a contextual focus on Hong Kong. The need for sensitivity to the human aspects can be forgotten as HR departments are forced to focus on corporate strategy, cost cutting and policy adherence.
