Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is at the core of our culture and Crown Hong Kong is therefore very proud to announce the launching of the Gift Box program on August 20, 2014. The Gift Box program promotes the idea of environmental awareness and sharing what you have with the community you live in. Many people want to increase their positive contribution to the environment but are not sure where to start. We know that for many individuals and families relocating, disposing of unwanted items is a real burden. But now Crown and The Salvation Army make it so easy! Crown Hong Kong invites customers to join in this necessary action to both help the environment and those in need. Each customer leaving Hong Kong or relocating domestically will be given a sticker to clearly label which items are for donation. These items can be clothing, electrical goods, toys and much more. Crown will then deliver these items to The Salvation Army for sorting before they are distributed to family stores in Hong Kong and Macau. By simply donating instead of disposing, these items really make a difference to the lives of home alone elderly, street sleepers, ex-prisoners and the residents whose income is not sufficient to meet basic needs.
