Chairman and Founder of the Crown Worldwide Group, Jim Thompson, was recently featured in a webcast for the upcoming Think Asia, Think Hong Kong Maritime Conference 2012. Think Asia, Think Hong Kong helps companies explore new markets and business opportunities that are emerging in Asia and the Chinese mainland.
Produced by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the webcast featured Jim telling the story of Crown Worldwide Group and its start in Hong Kong nearly 50 years ago. Jim spoke about Crown's service reputation and how Crown started in 1965 from an idea and just US$1,000 in his pocket. The webcast expanded on how Crown's business model has helped propel Crown Worldwide Group to where it is today as one of the largest international private firms in global mobility and relocation management.
The webcast will be used for the upcoming conference in November and in HKTDC’s large media campaign in the US in 2013 and features Crown's own employees from Crown's Worldwide headquarters in Hong Kong.
