Crown Vietnam raises funds for Saigon Children's Charity

Jamie Rossall, Country Manager of Crown Vietnam and Viet Tran, Marketing Executive of Crown Vietnam, hit the roads with other avid riders in support of the 9th annual Saigon Children Charity Cycle Adventure (CCA).

The three-day cycle adventure started from Hue to Hoi An, over the Hai Van Pass to Danang. Despite the rainy and stormy weather, all riders completed 300km adventure with great endurance and strength, and to date have raised over US$34,069 to Saigon Children’s Charity (SCC) with donation continuing to come in.

Jamie said: “I’d like to thank all the riders that took part in this year’s charity bike ride and helped to raise such a huge amount for SCC,” he added: “Apart from being soaking wet from the relentless rain and getting a flat tyre, it was a great three days spent with some amazing, fun, likeminded people”

Founded in 1992, SCC supports over 2,000 disadvantaged children with scholarships every year, the funds raised, will contribute to the charity's school building, vocational training, scholarships and empowerment of local organizations. For the past eight years, the annual Saigon Children Charity Cycle Adventure has raised over US$350,000 and provided 400 classrooms for unprivileged children in Vietnam.
