It gives us great pleasure to announce, that on December 11, Jim Thompson, our Chairman, was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the DHL/SCMP Hong Kong Business Awards.

Now in its 25th year, the Awards were established to encourage the region's entrepreneurial spirit and recognize excellent standards of corporate management and governance.
Jim was presented the highly-regarded award, at an awards dinner, in recognition of his business and social contributions to Hong Kong, as:
- Deputy Chairman of The Hong Kong Management Association and a member of the Investment Promotion Ambassador Scheme
- A member of Vision 2047 – an organization that actively discusses Hong Kong issues with visiting politicians, journalists and academics
- A member of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School Advisory Council and the City of University of Hong Kong College International Advisory Board
In addition to the above, Jim also serves as Chairman or as a Board member for numerous charitable organizations. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Society for the Promotion of Hospice Care, and is on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army.
