Dennis Muldowney
Crown is pleased to announce that Dennis Muldowney has been appointed as General Manager, Japan. In conjunction with Dennis's appointment , we are also pleased to advise that Regional Managing Director, Australasia, Mark Ellis has expanded his region to include Japan and Korea. Since Dennis joined Crown in 2002 as Relocation Services Consultant in South Korea, he has held a number of positions in the Asia-Pacific region as Regional Account Manager in Hong Kong and Global Mobility Services Manager in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In his most recent position as Country Manager of Korea, he was instrumental in expanding Crown's service coverage outside Seoul to include Busan, Ulsan, Geoje and Jeju Islands. Crown Korea received the highest Quality Award within the Crown Group during his tenure. Dennis has also successfully completed the Crown Leadership Journey (CLJ), a prestigious executive training program offered to a select group of Crown experts.
Dennis said "I am very enthusiastic about this opportunity to lead our Crown Japan team, Japan is where Crown was founded nearly 50 years ago, so it will be a fantastic experience taking the helm at this milestone in our company's history. Japan is a fascinating country, rich in culture and showing signs of renewed life in their economy. I'm confident that Crown Japan is ready to capitalize on the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Mark Ellis
Mark Ellis began his career with Crown in 1982 and has been an invaluable asset to operations in Australia and New Zealand. His successful management of branches in Wellington, Auckland and Sydney led to his promotion to Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand in 2003. Mark was the 2003 recipient of the Chairman's Award for his excellent leadership abilities and dedication to service excellence. His expanded role will support Crown's long-standing reputation in the region for providing the highest service quality to its customers.
Mark said “Expanding my region of responsibility to include Japan and Korea is a further exciting chapter in my career with the Crown Worldwide Group, which I am very much looking forward to. Both of these countries have a rich and unique heritage and so very different to where I have spent my life to date so it is with much anticipation and enthusiasm that I take on this expanded regional responsibility.”
