In 2006, Crown Milan began an environmental program with Emergency as part of Crown’s overall commitment to positively impact our communities. Emergency is an independent Italian organization that provides free, high-quality medical and surgical treatment to the victims of war, landmines and poverty. It promotes a culture of peace, solidarity and respect for human rights. Emergency’s work around the world is made possible thanks to the help of thousands of volunteers and supporters and it has a presence in a number of countries. Since 1994 over 5.5 million people in 16 countries have received free, high-quality health care thanks to Emergency’s efforts. Crown Milan is balanced with compassionate and responsible actions to make the world a better place for future generations. Through this environmental and charitable support, the office helps sustain itself and the communities it serves. Every year, from 2006, the Milan office has helped Emergency in order to continue the organization’s activities across the world.
