Crown Sweden this week renewed its support for the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation. As a part of Crown’s ongoing investment in the communities in which it operates, such support is both a point of principle and of pride. The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation is a non-profit association and receives no financial support from the state, county councils or municipalities. It’s vital work relies entirely on donations and bequests. Seven childhood cancer associations are members of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation, and the Foundation acts to promote co-operation and co-ordination between these associations. One member and one deputy on the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation Board represents each of the seven associations. Since 1995, the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation has been a member of the International Confederation of Childhood Cancer Parent Organizations (ICCCPO). ICCCPO is a worldwide network of organizations of parents of children with cancer.
