American retirees are often retiring a little differently than their parents and finding that the American dollar can buy more overseas.
Concerned with costs, they’re trying to find creative ways to make their dollars stretch a little further.
Many are finding that they want to spend their golden years enjoying their retirement, not pinching pennies. Golden sunshine, quiet towns and less traffic also have great appeal and continue to draw retirees to explore other countries.
Add to that inexpensive healthcare and vibrant ex-pat communities and anyone can see why more Americans are retiring abroad.
