Moving from Italy to a more sunny destination

With the rainy season starting in November in Italy, people who are planning to move abroad might be more likely to put a special emphasis on climate when choosing their moving destination, to possibly enjoy a higher quality of life in their new host country. Although expats living in Italy are already quite blessed with sunny weather – particularly in the Southern parts of Italy – it could make sense to review the latest results Expat Insider survey by InterNations. In fact, according to the recent Expat Insider survey among 14000 members, Italy has been voted on position 16 (from 64 countries) as preferred moving destination regarding its climate.
 
Overall, expats across the world who were surveyed, consider relocation destinations in the Mediterranean area of Europe, in South America and in Africa as attractive regarding weather, while destinations in North America, Asia and Oceania received a lower ranking.
